Dreams of water

I dreamed I was at the beach my wife and I went to this summer in Den Hague. The waves were getting very large and sweeping up onto the beach.
The folks in the water didn’t mind and were riding them as they came by.

One very large one was coming at me, and I dove through it.
As I came out the other side a voice said: “That’s enough, close it off.”

I looked off to the side, and the whole ocean was feeding through a single channel into the area where I was.
I wandered into the channel and found myself in the Yarra river near where my wife and I were a few years ago in Melbourne.
As they had shut off the water, it was fairly shallow and I could walk along the bottom of the river with the water only up to my knees.

Dream ends.

I think I’ve been missing going places. While I’ve been to both places in the dream, they are 16,588km apart.
But, both trips were very cool and I enjoyed them a lot.
