This week’s practice

It was a beautiful fall day, but not warm. Only a bit above freezing.


So we worked indoors with the heat on. That means no shots of the fire burning as we don’t light it indoors.

The first order was to figure out what to do with the broken fire sword.


So, we broke out the old back up and put a new wick on it and the remaining good sword.



That backup sword is a bit warped. So, it won’t be good for long.


My wife tried out the first attempt at the fire staff she’s wanted to build.

Think we need to refine it some.

We did run through the fire show for next week. Not everyone was there, so there were stand-ins.


But, the rest of us practiced.


Then, off again home. You can see by the color of the water it is cold.


It is pretty this time of year.






Orson the Bear was happy to have us back.
