Second strange dream

I dreamed that we were doing the Mobile Renaissance Faire.
They had built a hotel on the grounds of the faire and we were the first people to show up there and stay in it.

It was a very large hotel that they had tried to make upscale, but not quite managed it.
The halls had lots of fancy decorations on the walls, but the rooms did not have their own bathrooms.

I needed to take a shower and walked down to the mens room. I found there was only one shower, someone else was using it, and it was in the same room as the urinals and he had locked the door.

I decided to forgo a shower and got dressed. From the lobby of the hotel you could see out onto the faire grounds. They had set up the main stage to be surrounded by white sheets that were billowing around in the wind.
It was right across from where we had our tent set up. Along the wall of the hotel were barrels full of swords.

As I looked out the window, I saw Tom and the Woman of Glass come walking through the fairground.
"Finally they’re all here," I said.

I walked out and found Tom had brought his old fire sword, the one he used before the one that broke last week, but it needed to be set up to be used again.

I went over to the organizer.
"We’re all here now," I said. "It looks like you’ve only got one stage set up. What are our show times as I don’t want to interfere with other acts."
"Oh, go on whenever you want. Do your thing. It will work out."

The other acts were all hanging around the stage looking at me. I could tell they hoped I got a schedule out of the organizer.
"I’ll take care of it," I told the organizer.

I went over to the stage and started working out show times with the other acts.


This one isn’t so much dream as jumbled up now.
The mobile show is 4 weeks.
I don’t know if work is going to let me know.
I haven’t booked our hotel rooms yet.
The last two years there was no schedule.
The performer’s bathroom there is an old mobile home where there is a shower, but in the same room as the toilets and you can be locked out. I have never opted to take a shower there at the faire site.

Tom is flying to the show, but his flights have been changed to be later.
The woman of glass is not going, but her husband is and we’re afraid she’s going to demand to go.

Ah well. Hopefully it will all work out.
