The weekend
Mar. 11th, 2018 08:16 pmFriday was game night. As is the tradition, in March my wife and I cook a corned beef dinner for game night.
Fortunately my wife reminded me of this Thursday as I was thinking of going to the movies. If I hadn’t cooked it, it would have been a sad game night.
(It turned out my work place still didn’t have power Friday, so it could have worked out, but I didn’t know that Thursday night.)
Anyhow, it was cooked, there was food. Yay.

The first game we played was a pirate game.

We played with the minimum number of folks. It would probably be very different with more.

The Kindgomino.

By then, my wife was snoring on their couch, so we went home. I was tired too. It had been a long week.
Saturday we did finally get to the movies and saw Wrinkle in Time. I like the book better.
Today was sword practice. Above freezing, but still snow on the ground.

So, still indoors.

As it was daylight savings time, the clock was finally right.

The woman of glass and family showed up. She told us she's only going to do historical demos and fire as the stage shows are too dangerous. We'll see how that works.
Our next show is going to be teaching a sword class at a science fiction convention, so we’re practicing for that.

The kid of glass proved he can do the show with us.

The folks who might be returning might do this show with us. We’ll see.
