Next Monday will the the 6th anniversary of Phoenix Sword’s official start. We’ve done 201 shows in that time. (I count a show as performances per location per day. So all shows at one spot per day count as one. Actual acts, I don't count. And, we usually do 3-4 or more per day. So that's probably near the 1000 range.)

I keep track of all of our shows, where they are, who went to them and all of that stuff. Now, with the advent of Google Earth, I keep track of exactly where they are. And, I can figure out where our average performance is.

Right now, the average location of our performances is in the backyard of someone in Franklin Park NJ. I’m very tempted to go there this weekend and do a show in their backyard.


But, then I said, I don’t want to do an “average” performance, do I?

I am glad things went well this weekend at the show. It sounds like it was a lot of fun. I am sorry I missed it, but it sounds like there isn’t much doubt we’ll be asked back next year.

I am very grateful to our people for doing the show without us. I very much appreciate that we have such a competent band of people that we can fly off to a different section of the country while our people are acting like pirates and the only regret I have at the end is missing a cool show.

I’m glad they are on our side. Both in not wanting to compete against them, and in their pitching in to give us some time off when we really need it.

It means a lot to me.

As said before, Family Comes First. We all believe that (thoes who didn't get it were weeded out a while ago)

Yeah you missed a great show. They come around a fair bit. You'll do the next one. You would have been pissed at yourself for not attending your famlies get togather, and we would have been too.:)
