Cookie time

It is time to sort and throw out my fortune cookie collection.
So, here’s what I’ve got since last time.
As always, random order copied as is.

Digital circuits are made from analog parts.
Do not fear failure.
What do you call a sheep with no legs? A cloud.
You can’t choose how you will die, but you can choose how you will live.
Nobody can be exactly like you.
Don’t expect romantic attachments to be strictly logical or rational.
We must always have old memories and young hopes.
Cooking is easy. Good taste is hard. That’s why you call take out.
We judge others by actions. We judge ourselves by intentions.
Be magnanimous, be trustful, be hopeful, be patient.
Only listen to fortune cookie, disregard all other fortune telling units.
You will achieve success this year.
Before you can do something, you must first be something.
Enjoy what you have! Never mind fame and power.
Pick a path with heart.
Joy comes from adventure today. Time to shake the world.
Do it now! Today will be yesterday tomorrow.
Romance awaits you.
Remember, every downhill has its uphill.
Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting their battle too.
May the good spirits be with you always.
The food here taste so good, even a cave man likes it.
Calamity is the touchstone of a brave mind.
Don’t be afraid of fear.
A big fortune will descend upon you this year.
No man will work for your interests unless they are his.
There is nothing that costs so little nor goes so far as courtesy.

I'm just wondering where all these cookies come from. Do you buy them yourself?

It is a tradition for Chinese restaurants in the US to give them to you when you get the bill.
And, when you get take out food they don't know how many folks are getting it, so they usually throw in a handful.

My wife and I get Chinese food reasonably often, and often as take out...
