This week my wife and I discovered we have the happiest dumpster out there.

Who knew they bought balloons?

Although technically still summer, it is very fall like these days. And, the trees are starting to show it.

Monday, when we did our eye exam, it was a nice day to go into Worcester.

It did take a long time for my eyes to go back to normal.

But, we still went off for a late lunch.

The drought is so bad here that restaurants have been told not to give water to people unless they insist.

Maybe we should do something like this for our sword troupe. I wonder how well it works for them…

The equinox is next week. So, the sun is very low when I commute.

But, when you can see, it is very pretty.

I’ve actually done quite well with Pokemon this week.

They introduced the new patch that lets you walk a Pokemon for candy for it.

I picked the fish.

But, to get enough to evolve it, I’d have to walk to New York City…

That’s a good bit of walking…

At work there is a big rush to get things out by the end of the month. Even if it means me standing in for one of our freezers.

In addition to the Pokemon patch, there was an IOS update for my iPhone. One of these new features is that it will try and do a text transcription of voice mail messages.
It still needs work…

My boss was not asking about my mother. He was telling me to go see the woman building the robot and fix her problems.

Today we went off for a drive about as it was a nice day.

Lots of things go on this time of year. That can make it tricky driving about. It’s good to have alternate routes.

First, we stopped at a farm stand so my wife could get apples.

Then, up past the backup water supply that didn’t seem that low.

It is a nice drive. I used to go that way to my job 30 years ago…

For lunch we went to a restaurant where we had the Christmas party for that company 30 years ago.

That’s the last time we ate there…

The menu is about the same.

It is an old mill building that is very nice.

The ducks are used to being fed and very interested in getting you to feed them.

They can still be a bit skittish.

I did NOT share our corn fritters.

My wife ate duck. We’re pretty sure it didn’t come from outside.

On the way out we stopped to feed the ducks.

Then off again.

Nice views along the mountain ridge.

We stopped at an antique shop on the way home.

Then, off again home.

My wife is happy with her new computer.

Yay!
