Things going on

yebo found the road trip hat. In college if one of us put the hat on, it required us to go on a road trip. Often to the beach, sometimes just for ice cream. (That was back when I could eat it.)
This time, it was out to a local diner that has good hot dogs.

Once back, we continued the game night tradition.

I got this magnet game last month. We can almost figure out how to play it. The on line rules seem to make much more sense then what came in the box...
perrin_o_ravnos seemed to figure it out, so we played by what he thinks the rules are.




When we finished that we played a game of hotel greed. We could figure the rules to that out, but it wasn’t as much fun as playing with magnets.


At practice, we’re getting read for Maine.


palusbuteo is going to the job for the first time this year. (He has been very busy with is Roman and Civil War stuff.)

Other than that, a lot of weird (for New England) weather. Usually in August it’s dry and everyone’s grass turns brown. Not this year. Rain, rain and more rain. It means I haven’t been riding the bike much at all. (Only once so far this month.)
I guess we need the water.
