A fair bit of the week was nice and sunny.

That made it warm too…

We had a safety inspector come to my work place and inspect our robot freezer. But, he bent my under desk storage cabinet key.

How is that safe?

We’re almost 2 out of 3 months into spring and not all the trees have leaves yet.
But, there is still lots of pollen in the air.

Maybe it is the spring, but there seemed to be a lot of bad driving this week. This made traffic very bad.

Friday we got rain. That was sad as game night was going to be a cook out.

But, cooking out went on anyhow.

And, despite the rain, the food was good in the end.

Except the "biscuits and gravy" potato chips. They ended up outdoors as bird food.

I guess because of the rain, not a lot of folks showed up.

So, we decided to play "Power Grid". (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Grid )

It is a long game that took a few hours to play.

I am happy to report I won. Given that one of the folks there had a Phd in game theory from MIT, my winning games is rare. And, winning strategic games like this is almost unknown.
The extra fun part was I won by placing my last marker on my home town of Boston.

Saturday was much nicer that Friday.

But, the pollen was back too. You know it is bad when there are green lumps of it on your windows.

I went off to Worcester to get my hair cut.

I didn’t see Iron Man. Maybe he doesn’t work Saturdays.

My wife and I went to see the movie "Keanu". It was OK.

Looks like we are going to cancel sword practice tomorrow as all of the regular attendees have cancelled.
I wonder what we’ll do instead?

I'm starting to take more of an interest in what other people play on games nights, now that my friends host one every so often. I like the co-op games more than I thought I would.

I'm impressed you still cooked out in the rain. I would have abandoned it.

America sure does like to try out weird flavours of chips!

My car windows look like that at the moment, too. Made me think of your pollen status reports.

Yuck, pollen.

I suppose it's good for the wiper fluid companies and car wash companies as that will provide them business.

As for the cabinet key - Dude, WTH? How does one bend a key like that?!
Guess you'll have to keep your soda stash somewhere else….
