Is it just me?

As I’m sure a bunch of you would expect, I am looking forward to the new animated Star Wars movie this Friday. I was watching the Clone Wars trailer and something caught my eye about it.

This is the first Star Wars movie not put out by 20th Century Fox. So, what music starts with the WB logo comes on the screen?
Yeah.
To me, that really seems like a “we’re stealing your franchise and proud of it” music...

True. I'm sure it is about the $ to some extent.
But, WB does a lot of television animation stuff. And, this is the kick off for a TV animated show. So, they might have gone to WB because of Batman Beyond, Superman, Justice League, or any of the other "hero" shows they've got experience with.

I'm gathering that by now, Lucas is happy to make payday with whomever wants to throw money at him.

I think I would too, knowing the marketing power of the SW Franchise...Seeing as Fox nearly dropped ANH at least 3 times during it's production, and *everyone* said it would never do well in the theatres.
