Sick on my least favorite day…

My least favorite day is here again. 13 years. (The back story I wrote 8

I guess the somewhat good news is this year I am sick and not up to
brooding over it.

I don’t like being sick. But, I don’t like brooding over things I can’t
change and couldn’t have then either.

That event is certainly not the cause of all evil in our life. There was
bad before. There has been bad after that wasn’t connected.

But, it did blast a hole in our life that took us 10 years to climb out of.

I’m glad we’re past it and out of the crater.
Yay.

I wish I didn’t have this cold…

Just went back and reread your post. God, I'm so very sorry. The universe is a truly vile place sometimes, and an event like that is WAY up on the list of horrors that no one deserves to experience. I'm really glad you were able to climb out of the hole. That speaks volumes of how strong you and your wife are.
