Sword practice resumes
Feb. 7th, 2016 08:05 pmHeading to practice we saw a truck dumping a lot of ice on cars.
We picked when to pass carefully.

Lots of snow and ice still out there even thought it was above freezing.

It was nice to have the heater today.

Lots of folks at practice today, which was nice.

Casey and his daughter are still working on their fight.

My wife taught John some sword and buckler for the show we’re doing in 2 months.

Casey and Tom worked on their fight a lot too.

Casey and CJ also worked together for a new fight.

Then, more Tom and Casey practice.

And, documenting it to make sure it can be done again.
Afterwards we found the problem with Casey brining his son who is not part of the act.
He was feeling left out and locked the keys in the car.

Everyone pitched in to work on getting the car open.

Good thing we had daggers.

Eventually it worked.

Only three more practices before the big show.
I know I never feel we are fully ready. But, this year seems extra that way…
