So, I'm sitting here at work reading emails from about half the team saying how it is too dangerous to drive in today...


I was hoping for enough snow to be able to say the same thing.
Ah well, here I am.

I drive in it by necessity, not choice.
I do have a few decades of practice with it.

I never drove when I was in the US ... I never felt completely safe driving in the snow with others - the roads were terrifying and that was driving in a small down going quite slow ...

I used to have a job like that. I often walked in to work.

Now it's 38 miles each way.

I have to admit I don't like driving in snow again - but we haven't had any to speak of for 2 winters now.

You don't have the Worcester Hills to contend with. Barely made it down my hill this AM by almost going sideways, and then back home
barely made it up the hill having to go backwards slightly at the highest point, then trying to get into an un-cleared parking spot.

The rental (Gallant) has some freaking power. I think I need to put some air in the tires, though, but it may have helped this time.

Hopefully new-used car tomorrow.
