So, one of the folks on my friends list has been doing this thing where they pick a friend and say what they like about them.
I think that’s really great and wanted to do something similar. But, I’m impatient and indecisive, so I couldn’t pick which person to start with.
So, I thought I’d do it differently and go through my whole list saying something about each of you. It’s alphabetical, as it’s listed in my user info.

64tbird- Gave me a chance when I didn’t expect one. And has, on more than one occasion, stopped me from embarrassing myself.
64tbird_public- Says important things that must be said.
blue_micha- Listened to me when I really, really needed someone to listen to me.
capt_amos- I’m not sure what to say about “The Love Pirate”. But, it’s fun to see him in action.
danielgreenwolf- Is the best magician I know. Good enough to make his dreams appear out of what looks like thin air. (But, as with all magic tricks is really a lot of hard work and practice.)
evrgreen- Can explain things I don’t understand in a way that lets me understand them.
fbhjr- is very modest. Wait....
gilden- When I’ve felt the most alone has called up and said “don’t be stupid I’m always there for you.”
hyssop- Is building a world I hope to play in
julytooth- is like the energizer bunny of life. Things that would drain other people past the point of going on happen to her, and she keeps on drumming.
madminyon- Is willing and eager to try everything anyone in Phoenix Swords does.
malterre- Is the love of my life and makes me a better person just by being with me as her being there encourages me to be my best.
mariness- Has shown me that some of my quirks actually mean I belong to something instead of am separated. And, she was able to use that to help me once when I really needed it.
morgan_lafaye- Reminds me that the people are just or more important then the goals.
mythfish- Has given me such insight into what our audiance wants that I’ve changed the way Phoenix Swords performs as a result.
oakenguy -was the first person to friend me, even after Northboro...
palusbuteo- Sometimes says things that I don’t want to hear, but need to hear to be a better person.
perrin_o_ravnos- Understands my sense of humor better than almost anyone else I know.
saeble- Has amazing talent and plans to fix the world.
sexy_frank- Is where my wife writes notes to me.
tamargrl- Has been very kind to me when I really needed it.
temperlj- Shows off what we do on weekends.
yebo-Has been my freind longer than anyone else.
zemanel- Is one of the most honest people I know. Not everyone seems to appreciate it, but I do.
zosh- Has always impressed me with her courage.

Well thank you ! A few other people have told me the same thing lately, but that was in relationship to how a solar cell array works - I am often struggling for finding the right words when it comes to personal/relationship matters. I shall try to maintain and improve upon my ability in making the incomprehensible merely arcane !! ;-P

I also think it has to do with your musician/engineer duality.
You seem to be able to think across from artist to engineer.
Not something I can do, at least as well as I'd like.

From the first time I met you when those folks cut in line at the movies, through many other things. You've stood up for what you thought was right. I know a fair number of people who don't. Your doing so takes a lot of courage.

It's true, it was.
I think it is courageous for any two people to try and make it work together.
I think that's one of the problems with people staying together as people forget how hard it can be. They think it's easy, or should be, and if it isn't then something it wrong.

That was one of the thinks I like very much about your wedding was the sermon. The pastor went into how hard it is to stay married. It wasn't a sugar coated "it will be wonderful" speech that is so typical. That was nice.
