Practice, with a couple of photos from yesterday

At home it was a fairly gray morning.


The squirrels like bombing cars with acorns to get them to crack open.

Every time you’re in the car you can hear them pounding off the roof.

When we got to the practice grounds it had turned into a very nice day.


The fall leaves are certainly out.


As is often the case this year, not a lot of folks.


Tom and his kids came to practice. That’s good as in 6 weeks he’s joining us at the Mobile show and we have to practice for it.


Of course, we are the sort of folks to let kids play with swords. Even if they aren’t even two…


Some folks might think that wrong, but their dad is OK with it, right?


My wife and I did our rapier fight.





Tom’s kids didn’t know their dad was a champion spitter.

Needed if you’re going to be doing it with fire.


The new guy and family showed up as well.


And we did do fire.





Then, off home again.

Oh and it makes me happy that the movie I watched cared enough to get the sword fights right. and thanks to you all I can appreciate that fact. Yay!

A lot of them are magicians, so we have the most interesting get togethers! People in handcuffs and strait jackets. :D

I love the fire gifs, they are really impressive! That's a lot of fire. You wouldn't get much practice in over here during summer though, fire is banned a lot of the time!
