Week in Photos

We renewed our lease on Sunday. We’ve lived here for 22 years and it will be at least 23. By far the longest I’ve ever lived anywhere.

But, I do like the place.


And, I like this part of the country with the nice green hills, and convenient access to lots of things.



I also like this time of year with its cooler temperatures, clear skies and clear air.


On the town common they are putting up their fall scarecrows. Only one Monday, but by the end of the week many more.


I’ve been doing a lot of planning for our trip to the UK two months from now. So far I’ve only gone as far as a color coded plan in 1/2 hour increments.
My wife appreciates this level of planning…


I had a long talk about this cool bike with someone at work.

My big question was: "how do you get going without falling over?"
I’m told he has an electric starter on it to get him up to speed. He commutes on it and has done 30k miles/50k km. That’s a good long way.
(I commuted by bike 30 years ago. I liked it when it was only 6 miles/10 km. Once my job moved to almost 8 times that, went to a car.)

That moon has been following me around again.

I’m told there will be some sort of super moon this weekend. Don’t know who is going to make a cape that big…

I like to see planes flying just at sunset. (Upper right. What? It’s at least one pixel big!)

Maybe this will help.

It was going east bound from the US east coast with 4 engines. So, at least to Europe. Maybe even farther these days.

The sun is now rising after I set off for work.


But, it slowly creeps up on me as I drive in.


It won’t tomorrow. We’re leaving before 4AM.
But, that’s for later…

It does look like a really nice place to live. I would like to live somewhere for 22 years. I'm tired of moving around.

I have noticed the moon is bright in the sky earlier and earlier lately. I'm not sure why that is, I must google it.
