Frank’s Electronic Menagerie
Jul. 18th, 2008 11:46 amI think I have achieved my wife’s goal of being Alpha Geek at work. I could tell when I said to the guy who gets all the web jokes and you-tube videos “look at my new keyboard”.
He looked at me type with it.
“I hate you,” he said and walked off.
So, I think that’s a win.
Now to work each morning I carry:
1 Macbook laptop
1 Razor cellphone
1 hands free headset for the phone
1 80 gig iPod with transmitter for car
1 Palm T/X
1 Laser keyboard for the Palm

That’s not too bad. Most are small. I can stuff them into the briefcase my wife bought me without problem. (I didn’t count the digital camera as that is the work one. My own is in the car, so not part of what I bring to work.)
The real problem is they all take different power cords to charge. So, my office looks like it’s been attacked by the flying spaghetti monster.

Maybe there is a connection?
Computers lead to pirates.
Lots of high tech=FSM?
Don’t know.

Date: 2008-07-18 08:11 pm (UTC)The design guy brought his designers to see the laser keyboard, so i guess it wins.
i'm typing this on it now. I seem to have some trouble with the shift key, but other than that, it seems to be ok

But just remember, this technologial marvel you have constructed is insignificant compared to the power of the Force. :D
