No storms on the horizon
May. 22nd, 2015 04:42 pmLast night I was still very tired from my day trip to Atlanta the day
before. Because of that, I fell asleep about 8 at night for a short time.
I dreamed I was inside a supermarket and people were putting tarps down on
the floor. As I watched them do this, the lights went out.
I walked to the front of the store where the exit in the right front corner
was brightly lit from outside.
I walked outside to see the parking lot full of water. A car was going by
with the water half way up its doors.
“It’s a big storm!” someone in the crowd of people on the sidewalk in front
of the store said.
The sky was cloudy, but not raining.
I stepped off the curb into the parking lot and the water was up to my
knees.
“I am going to ruin my shoes,” I said to myself.
To prevent that, I jumped back up on the side walk.
I prepared to take off my shoes and walk home in the water.
Dream Ends.
Back in 1985, I had a similar dream about a storm coming over the apartment
building we lived in at the time.
The next day the storm that would become hurricane Gloria formed off the
coast of Africa.
It was the first big storm to really hit New England in more than a decade.
Last night when I woke from this dream I checked and there were no tropical
storms forming anywhere.
Relived, I feel back asleep.
Today I see one forming in the eastern Pacific off of Mexico…
Pacific storms don’t hit us. It would have to cross too much land.
Right?
