We’ve had a lot of snow this week. We’re supposed to get another foot in the next day and a half, so we called off sword practice because of that. But, right now it isn’t snowing, which is annoying me.

But, we did have plenty of snow this week.

When I cleaned my car off Tuesday morning it looked like there was about a foot on it.

Most people in our apartment complex are good about parking in the snow. But, some folks don’t put in the effort.

But, it can still be pretty.

The snow is deep enough that I can no longer see my favorite view across the valley from the red light near our house.

Other houses react to the heating and cooling in strange ways.

And, because it never gets above freezing these days, the roads tend to stay pretty icy.

The snow pen has not been seen in a long time.

But, the walkways are clear.

There was a fantastic moonrise this week. But, the only photo I got was in the read side mirror of my car…

Some folks don’t do well in the snow. Like this truck that decided to block three different directions in an intersection while making a turn. Not because it couldn’t make the turn, but because it didn’t want to wait for traffic.

Thursday we did the sword study group as normal.

palusbuteo, my wife and I are trying to narrow down what we do in shows and classes with this material.

More of my wife’s costume came in this week. The sleeves are very long and Amy showed how they could be used against her.

Some folks have asked if snow on the roof is a problem. This shed says yes.

Yesterday there was horrible traffic. No idea why. This was Saturday noon, not weekday rush hour.

I did pick up Chinese food from the place with the icicles.

Because of the traffic I took back roads home. I was faced with this ambulance making an illegal left turn because they took the wrong exit for the road.

I hope I never need them to come and help me.

I’m sad practice was cancelled, but it is too late to start it again as the person we rent from needs notice to clear out his garage.
Maybe it will still snow some more.
