Game night, July
Aug. 9th, 2014 12:29 pmThursday evening my wife and I drove up to Gardner (About 40 miles/60km) to see
We had a very good time and it was nice to meet her in person.
Plus, she put on a very good show.

Friday we went over to
Some of their tomatoes are done.

There was lots of cooking out on the grill and visiting.

And, it was a perfect night. Not a cloud in the sky, about 70F/20C.

It was a good night for a cookout.

But, we also wanted to fire. So, we summoned Jose and he showed up for the show.

It was a low impact show as it was for friends. But, I think it went ok.

If you’re interested in seeing things in motion:

We did eventually stop burning things and go play games.
Illuminati was played again.

As well as a "fire works" game that was interesting.

In it you can see other people’s cards, but not your own. So you have to cooperate with everyone to get a good total score.

So, lots of fun!

He and I played it a bit before heading over, unfortunately we didn't get to
offer it as he had to hit the road. It is an interesting game.
