fbhjr: (Hat of doom!)

As it is the height of summer here, a lot of game night was outdoors.
[livejournal.com profile] yebo has a lot of yard games.
But, that doesn’t mean we play them as intended.

Josh and I were both out of practice, but did OK with the ball juggling.

And, even did one actual game of their intended use.

But, juggling is more fun, so he got his kit of juggling things out of his car.

But, frisbee golf was also played.

The crowd went wild…

But, as before, juggling was more fun.

I am hopeless with the sticks.

My utter failure to juggle even one stick meant more frisbee golf had to be played. And played from the far side of the house to make it more interesting.

But, by then it was dark enough for Jose to do fire juggling.

Although he was surrounded by Phoenix Swords fire performers and safety people, it was NOT one of our shows. It only counts as a show for us if we pre-announce it.

For out of practice he did quite well.

Of course Phoenix people do like fire…

This is what it was like without my correcting the light in the photos. So, it was fairly dark.

Josh was shown some fire dancing moves. Maybe next month we’ll bring some of our own fire…

But, with the dark came mosquitos. So, we moved indoors and started playing more traditional games.

Like Illuminati where you’re trying to take over the world.

[livejournal.com profile] cosmicirony is good at "evil" plans to take over the world like this.

But, in the end Josh won by destroying the world instead.
He did have all that fire…

It was also the night of the "Super Moon"! So, it was very bright driving home.

A good game night all around!
