The other pending item

Last March I was in a car accident on the
way to our zombie sword show Easter morning.

Even though the other person turned right from the left lane into the side
of my car, the insurance company said it was my fault because they asked
the other guy and he said so.
(No, seriously. That’s why. The guy who hit me said it wasn’t his fault.)

So, I appealed this decision.

Tomorrow at noon is the court hearing to decide if it was legally my fault
or not. (They’re never going to convince me. Even if they decide there
was only one lane, he turned right without signaling after getting over to
the left side of the road.)

I’m not surprised that any evidence I bring (photos mostly) has to be hard
copy. But, I’m surprised that “no electronic device of any kind may be
brought into the courthouse”.
Wow. While waiting I can’t even read a book on my iPad?
That seems pretty extreme to me.

We’ll see how it goes. I’ve served on juries before, but never been in a
case.

i'd be surprised if the photos don't convince them that it wasn't your fault.
some people are idiots. sounds like the insurance company should have done some actual investigating...
