Getting to the Netherlands

fbhjrI'm writing this Monday night local time in the Netherlands. That means I've been up about 28 or so hours. Not even close to a record for me, but I'm still tired.
Those sword troupe trips down south are good training for my day job.
My wife dropped me off at the airport the suggested 3 hours early. So, I had plenty of time to wait for the plane. Good thing I had headphones and my Kindle App on the iPad.
Sitting in terminal A I had a great view of a spectacular sunset over the city of Boston.
What amazed me almost as much as the sunset was how few people even seemed to notice it.
There were two flights to Amsterdam last night. One was supposed to leave 2 hours before mine, but it just waited and waited and waited.
No reason was given. But I'm glad I wasn't on the flight that had to sit and wait for an hour.
Just after it left a guy came up asking about it.
"You can run out there and try and catch it, but it's gone," the gate woman said.
"You'd let me just run out there and fall out of the jetway onto the tarmac?" he asked.
"Yep, I'd catch it all on Youtube too," she said.
"Would I get half the money?"
"I'd give it all to you to deal with your broken legs," she told him.
He rescheduled on our flight instead.
The flight was uneventful. Just about sunrise we went over Irleand.
It was NOT an Irish breakfast they served at this time.
We quickly flew over England as well. So far, this is the closest I've been to it.
When I landed the local service tech from my company met me and drove me to the customer site.
As it is Holland, there were windmills.
It took about 1/2 hour to get to the customer site.
We worked there until about 4 or so, then he drove me over to my hotel.
I was surprised at how blue the bathroom is.
This is me being surprised...
But, I got here, I did the first set of updates and now I'm going to get some sleep.
