The past few nights I've woken up in the middle of the night and had trouble getting back to sleep.
It seems to be slowly moving backward through the night.
Wednesday it was about 4AM, Thursday about 3AM, and now about 1AM.
No idea what causes it. Wish it would stop.

I'll grant you between getting ready to go to Europe for a week in 2 1/2 days, our anniversary party in 15 days, other job concerns I've still got and a bunch of other things, my mind has things to keep it busy.

I just wish it would work it out in dreams while I slept like it is supposed to do...

Hey - we're twins but just in different time zones with our sleep patterns.

Yes, I've seen the time stamp on some of the things you post...

The trick to falling asleep again is to shut off your brain I am told. What I have not been told is how to shut it off.

It usually takes me about two hours.

I just wish I knew what was waking me up.

Could there be a noise outside your apartment? Years ago I kept waking up at 2:30 am and I finally figured out that I was hearing a neighbor, wo worked at a bar, me home from closing the bar.

Maybe, but it has not been at a consistent time...
