My wife and I went to see “The Grandmaster” today. We both really liked it. It is my favorite movie of the ones we’ve seen this summer.

Going back over the ones we’ve seen, it is a longer list than I realized. And, there aren’t a lot I thought were that good.

But, we did both like The Grandmaster. If you like the kind of movies I do, it is worth seeing.

The ones we’ve seen and my grades for them are:

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters C (I fell asleep in it. It also must get a C since Percy is the son of Poseidon, right?)

I've not seen a single one of those movies - did buy the DVD of Ironman3 the other day but haven't watched it yet

If you do see the Grandmaster know that it is in Chinese and unless you speak Chinese you have to read the subtitles as I did.

I don't mind a foreign film with a subtitles but I prefer Italian or French ... sometimes other languages are hard to listen to .. just the sound of the language. Sometimes I find German is quite angry and Asian languages have all the high/low thing going on that doesn't make it relaxing to watch but I could listen to french and italian all day - spanish too.

I think you and I have quite similar movie taste, so I'll have to check some of these out... Definitely want to see Kick-Ass 2, I loved the first one!

If you liked the first one I'm pretty sure you'll like this one.
But, the title is wrong. It should be "The Hit Girl Movie".
