Yay for the fall

When I left for work this morning it was 46F/8C.
I just stood there for a moment saying "This is nice!" before getting in the car and driving to work.
I know it isn't really fall for another 2 weeks, but I'm happy to see the cooler weather arrive.

When do you usually get your first snow of the year?

We will probably get a light one some time next month.
It is rare to get a big one before December. It happens, but not too often.

Two years ago we had a big storm at the end of October. It caused a lot of damage because the trees were not yet ready for it:
