The weather forecast for Sunday had been cloudy with a 70% of rain and thunderstorms growing to 100% in evening.
But, when we got up it wasn’t bad.

[livejournal.com profile] evrgreen made us breakfast.

He and his wife also donated an ice cream maker to us so we can try and make other frozen desert. Don’t know when we’ll do this, but it will be a fun experiment.

We decided to go swim in the lake while the weather was good.

And, at least in the morning, it was pretty good.

When the sun is out it is a lot easier to see into the water.

And, this does make the fish easier to see.

[livejournal.com profile] evrgreen threw the fish some food and they really seemed to like this.

It did cloud over eventually.

The dogs were sad as rain means indoor things.

We went off to a local pottery store that was having a sale that day.

Although almost fall, they have a lot of flowers still in bloom.

The local economy was stimulated by both us and our hosts.

Then, we headed home.

We passed by the town in New Hampshire where the library is guarded by cannon.

And, the cows just watch.

The buffalo don’t seem to care at all. But, they are plastic...

As we headed home we did hit the storms. But, it wasn’t too bad.

Today my wife had to work so I was doing laundry, shopping, cleaning and stuff.

It is a nice area to live. But, jobs are hard to find there.
160km south where we live is not as nice, but there are more jobs.

And, yes, their dogs are very nice.

They are sometimes called "pumpkinseeds" in the sunlight.
