Beach day

Yesterday we headed to the beach I used to go to a lot when growing up.


It is in an area where there are still farms and such.



But, some things are not the same as the old days.


We found a horseshoe crab. Used to be a lot of them around when I was a kid, but this is the first I’ve seen in a long time.


The weather might not have been perfect for a beach day.


I still tested the new underwater camera and it seemed to work well.


But, on a cloudy day it was still tough to see anything worth photographing.


We still waded in and looked for interesting things.


It did clear up some.


It was windy enough that my had flew off into the water.


We went off for lunch, then came back when the tide was out.


You can see much more stuff when it is low tide.


But, then we headed off home.

It is a Fujfilm XP.
I've only had it a week, but it seems OK.
