The new building grounds are apparently home to a family of foxes.

I did not take the photos. They were part of a “stay away from them and I won’t call animal control and have them removed” email from the head of the division.

I did see one when I was down there Monday, but it ran across the lawn so fast I couldn’t get my camera out.
They are very cute.

Very cool!

We have red foxes in our area, but we never see them, ever. they're very wary of humans and human surroundings.

You see them from time to time here, but there are other things you see far more often. (Hawks, groundhogs, skunks..)

Here it's deer, racoons, skunks, possums, and squirrels who will actually run up to you and grab your toes.

The other prevelant animal that we don't see very often is pumas. They're here, but we never see them.

I like seeing wildlife at work. It reminds me that the whole planet is connected and that everything is not gray walls and computer screens =)

Foxes now are still in dens where the mother had the kits and there is a good supply of food nearby (chickens, chipmunks, squirrels, etc.) After the kits are old enough the foxes will likely move out on their own to a new place with all the increased human traffic in your new buidling area. The mothers will setup their dens even close to humans to have their kits if there is a reasonably good source of food close by. I've seen them make their dens under garages, tool sheds, barns, etc. on farms because of the nearby chicken coops -> ideal food supply.

They haven't been called yet.
They will be if they go near people. So, people should stay away from them..
