Spring is here. I can tell by the bees trying to make a nest on my balcony.

I took a squirt bottle and dampened the bee until it decided to use a different balcony.

In the afternoon, we went into Worcester to pick up [livejournal.com profile] ravena_kade who was taking the train out from Boston.
As we crossed the train track we saw her train going by under us. So, we had to race it to the station.

We got there about the same time and met her there at the station.

There we encountered a man looking for bus directions, who did not listen well.
I found a bus for him, #23, and held out the bus schedule for it to him.
“1A, got it,” he said and walked off without the schedule.
“That wasn’t the right number, was it?” [livejournal.com profile] ravena_kade asked.
“Nope,” I said. “But, at least we’ll be gone when he comes back...”

We visited for a while, then drove off to “carne con carne” for dinner.

At 4PM, not crowded.

After dinner we all went shopping in Natick and then we drove [livejournal.com profile] ravena_kade home.

The beach near her house looked nice, but it was cold and dark so we did not go over to it.

When my wife and I got home I had to inflate the Dalek I had bought.

Today we had our weekly sword practice.

It wasn’t all that warm, but wasn’t too bad in the sun.

A lot of the practice went into the material for the Symposium next week.

Tom’s son had to be kept from following his father into the sword fight.

This upset his son a lot, but what can you do?

Other folks were working on the Spanish knife fighting.

As with yesterday, my allergies were making me feel run down. These little red buds always do it to me.

Of course,if it were only a few it would be one thing.
But, there are a lot of them.

It is nice to see the flowers.

After practice, we went to the pizza place. They were nice enough to make me a BBQ chicken pizza without cheese.
