Game night, April

Last night was game night at zosh & yebo’s.


The theme of this month was “food on sticks”.

We also had other food that looked like sticks.


Some folks even tried to put round food on sticks.


Then we played perrin_o_ravnos’s game with Star Wars ships on sticks.


They are very detailed little ships.


I’m told you have to stand is a specific way around a table full of little ships.


But, sometimes the game prompted folks to stand in a different way.


Sadly my ship was shot with an ion cannon and flew into an asteroid where I got shot by another ship.


Of course once you were blown up, as cosmicirony and I were, we could sit and not stand around the table.


Here is a time lapse of the game:

I ended up joining a game of Gloom in the kitchen.

It’s a game where you try and make members of your family as sad as possible before they die off.
I won. Been training my whole life.

The folks in the living room were playing Nuclear War.


This is apparently a game that does not excite cosmicirony.


Then we played gloom in the living room too.

I won again.
Go figure.

Even with your ship getting all asteroided and stuff you won? GO YOU!

ETA: I just realized you lost the Star Wars game, but won the other one. WAY TO RECOVER!

Sorry for the confusion. I lost at the Star Wars game, even though I was playing Darth Vader.
I maintain he got out of his fighter and is still playing golf on that asteroid.

I won at Gloom twice. The game where depressing things happen to your family until it dies off.
But, that is because I've been training for that one since birth...

I like the food on sticks idea. :)

We have that game Gloom too but haven't gotten to play it yet b/c our friends suck. hah

food (and games) on sticks was a fun theme.

I'm sad I wasn't able to stay awake enough to play Gloom as it looked like an interesting game
