Dress rehearsal with snow
Feb. 24th, 2013 07:28 pmAfter many days of anticipation, we did get snow today, but not enough to stop us from going to practice.

Not, mind you, that driving was great.

But, once we got south of the Mass Pike (Interstate 90) things got much better.

By the time we got to where the practice space is in Connecticut, it was basically just wet pavement.

But, that did make for a sloppy parking area with the mud.

It was dress rehearsal, so everyone brought costumes.

This is me in the fez I bought yesterday.

It is not part of the costume, the colors just happen to match.
I did discover that one you put on a fez, which is cool, everyone wants to join in.

Some people, like

And there are some people where I have no idea of what look they’re trying to achieve.

Then, it was fold the tent time. I’m not saying some folks turn their back on this sort of work. But, pictures don’t lie.

Between the new bag bought yesterday and the others

Then it was load it on the car time. The good news is that

It is not clear if he realized it would be his daughter up on time tying it down.
She seems to really enjoy it.

And, she does a great job!

After practice we went to the local pizza place and then headed back in the “storm”.

By then it was just drizzle.
I am still glad to be off the roads before it freezes tonight.

Blue is indeed impressive with her tying-things-up skillz. ;D
