Sort of birthday party for Yebo

Next Thursday yebo will turn 50. I will this coming fall, as will his wife zosh. So as the first of us born in 63 to hit the big 50, we thought we should take him out for his birthday.

blue_micha & perrin_o_ravnos also joined us and we went to the Brazilian BBQ place not too far from here in Worcester.

It is one of those places where they bring the food around on skewers and cut off some of it for you at the table.


We had all prepared for this by eating little over the day before. It is very good.

They fire cook the meat right there, which does lend a smokey atmosphere.


After that we went back to Yebo & Zosh’s house. We all played a couple of games of Dixit, then Yebo broke out his new game he wanted to play.
Robo Rally is similar to a video game he and I used to play in the 80’s.


We played a couple of games. It is fun enough. perrin_o_ravnos won and seemed very happy that he beat two engineers at a robot game. Enough where he took a picture of the game board to prove it. So, I took a picture of him taking the picture, just because.


It was a fun afternoon and we had a good time. Sort of like a mini-game night.
Hopefully Yebo will have a good birthday when it gets here Thursday.



Oh yeah, on an unconnected note, when I got our comics this morning, it was the first time I had been to the shop since the city changed the name of the road next to them.
I think it’s pretty cool.

I love those Brazilian meat places. They had them all over the city and it was nuts all the food!!!!

They've been trying to get the city to change it for a couple of years now. Since it is only 1 block long and only two shops are on it, it was mostly just paperwork.
They actually changed the name on my wife's birthday, but this was the first time I was by to see it.

If you like meat, it is great.
They have a salad bar too, but I don't know anyone who goes there for that.
