Visiting my wife’s family

Normally when we go to Florida we visit both my cousins and my wife’s aunt and uncle.
But, this year my wife’s aunt and uncle flew to Massachusetts when we flew to Florida.
So, we met up with them yesterday while they were staying at their son’s house.


The plan had been to buy my wife’s aunt an iPad mini so she could video conference with her grandkids when she’s back in FL.
But, we couldn’t find one. I guess they are really hot this Christmas and I tried 4 stores and couldn’t get one.
So, we ordered one that should be in before she goes back to FL. But, we did show her mine so she’d know what she was getting.


The real bonus to this is that my wife does not like her aunt’s sister. And, giving her aunt an iPad seemed to have just the right effect. My wife’s aunt happy, her sister not happy.


And, as we were there, the snow caught up with us.

Had to happen sooner or later.
