Christmas morning we got up and went to Seaworld. Not very religious unless you go for that “all God’s creature’s” angle.
We did have tickets good for all of 2012, and did want to feed the animals.
So, off to Seaworld we went.

Our first stop was feeding the rays as that is my wife’s favorite thing.

There was one ray that came back again and again. I think it was Moby Ray.

I go more for feeding cetaceans myself.

The dolphins waited while we got the safety speech.

But, they were very happy when we were given our fish and let go.

Then, up the tower.

My wife liked the lake of Christmas trees.

You do get a nice view of the park.

And, the surrounding area.

We went to the sea lion show. There were folks selling things there with squid hats. MY wife liked the squid hats, but we couldn’t find one for sale. Very sad.

They also had a pirate mime. Neither my wife nor myself had ever considered pirate mimes before this.

Nor had we really considered a pirate sea lion show.

Both the pirate captain and the sea lion took a dive into the pool.

And, we were very surprised when they brought a walrus on stage for the end.

Then, to look at the dolphins underwater.

One was a bubble artist who would put his blowhole on the glass, create a little bubble and then play with it for people.

Then, off to the manatees.

Finally, back to feed the rays one more time.

My wife really, really likes that.

There was a couple that seemed fascinated with my wife feeding them. To the point of taking pictures of her doing it and asking her questions.

But, my wife is not so big on them splashing her.

Then, off to the airport to head home.
The wait at security was quite long, so it was good that we got there early.
We did see some balloons to be brought on planes and wondered how well they would do at low pressure.

But, none on our plane, so we didn’t find out.
Our plane was a bit late, but not too bad.
We got home by 11.

All in all, a good Christmas and a good trip.
