It’s not even 9 in the morning and I’m already annoyed at today.
I didn’t sleep well last night. Probably because the first sword practice
in almost a month. I certainly had aches that aren’t normally there.
And, I forgot to take a shower when we got home, so got into bed with the
bug spray still on me. I only noticed when I couldn’t fall asleep because
I kept coughing and couldn’t figure out why.
My wife was very nice and did get new sheets and a pillowcase for me while
I washed it off.
After that I wasn’t coughing anymore, but it was still quite late for me.
This morning I was going to stop for gas on my way in, but found my usual
gas station closed and surrounded by caution tape.
Don’t know what that’s about, but I need gas before I head home. And, the
town where I work has banned self serve gas stations. I’m not big on other
people pumping my gas, and the price is higher.
MY choice is get it here: expensive & annoying or drive a town over to get
it: time consuming & annoying.
So, that also annoys me either way.
It’s my own fault. I didn’t buy gas Saturday as I said “I’ll wait until
after we’ve driven around and get it good and empty so when I use my
supermarket points to get $0.20 off per gallon it will be for the most gas.”
And, I expect work to be unpleasant today as my boss unveils his mandatory
overtime plan. (At least I think HE is doing that. I don’t think I’ve got
to. But, that wasn’t clear Friday.)

I know. None of this is important. None of this really matters.
The stuff that really matters is still very good. (My wife, my friends, my
job, the sword group)
I’m just annoyed by the little things.
