I dreamed my company was sending me to France with no notice. I had to
leave the office and go straight to the airport without stopping at home.
My wife picked me up and drove me to the airport, but hadn’t been able to
grab any clothes for me.
I got through security at the airport without problem. But, when heading
towards my gate, I was stopped by some guards.
The head of security came up to me and told me there was a problem because
I had brought soap through security.
“That’s impossible,” I told her. “I don’t have any luggage at all. Only
my iPad case and that doesn’t have any soap in it.”
“It was from the last time you flew,” she told me. “Come with me and I
will show you.”
I followed her through the busy terminal. Parts of the terminal seemed to
be under construction as there was plywood up over large sections.
We came to a small convenience store with bars on the window. On a shelf
in the window was a pack of Ivory Soap.
“See,” she said, pointing to it.
“Let me look at it closer,” I said.
We went into the store and she took it down off of the shelf.
“This is the kind of soap I use,” I told her. “But, I don’t see anything
that says it was brought here by me.”
As we stood there examining the soap, I saw the store had a clothing
section.
I went over to it and grabbed some packages of underwear.
“Great!” I said. “Now I will have underwear in France!”
Dream ends

One of the strange things about this dream is at lunch today my wife said
“Don’t worry, I packed the Ivory Soap for our trip to New Jersey.”
But, that was after the dream…
My company is talking about sending people to Europe to inspect the
customer site. I am not scheduled to go, but it is still on my mind.
I have also been reading a book about the Bayeux Tapestry, which is in
France, and have been thinking “it would be nice to see that one day.”
And, two weeks ago I bought new underwear.
So, I think all that came together in my mind…
