Sunday arrived with bright sun and no clouds. It remained that way all day.
Our first order of business was a “tent” fix.

We did find the ant poison Jose put down Saturday before the rain seemed to stop the ants pretty well.

A few of us went to preacher Gerry’s Sunday morning service.

Then, our historical show.

Our guest starts have started picking up swords as well.

Our shows went well and there were pretty big crowds.

Which is a good thing for your first sword fight in front of folks.

Of course Jack Salt did his own shows too.

My wife was very happy because this show had Hobbits.

We almost have everyone for a group shot, so I’m trying to fake it.

My wife can probably do a better job with photoshop.

The faire organizer was happy with the crowds on day 2 (although he got between 300 & 400 in the rain.)

But, he really seemed to be the most happy to meet Tom’s son.

But, no mater what you may have heard, he did not eat the baby.

So, we gave him the usual group hug.

Then, we all went to that crab place on the beach for dinner.

Again, baby seemed to be part of the meal plan.

The baby did not have any of the buckets of rum.

This morning I was up early and went to the airport.
As I got through security, I saw the first gate had a flight to Atlanta 2 hours earlier than mine. I asked and they let me on it, but could make no promises about Atlanta to Boston.
So, I landed in Atlanta at 9 for a 1:45 flight. I saw there was a flight leaving in about 20 minutes. I asked about that one and they said “go ask at the gate”.
I was in terminal B it was in terminal D. It’s only 3/4 of a mile, right?

So, I went to the subway between terminals. I saw a train at the station and went over to it. I saw the doors stay closed. I saw the people inside start to shout, pound on them and then try to pry them open. I heard the PA system say “the tram has a temporary delay”.
So I walked quickly down the walkways, and such, but finally found the gate in time to see I was too late.

Next was walking back. Now that everyone knew the tram was broken, it was a bit more crowded in the tunnel.

I did find it interesting that rescue people ride bikes around the terminals. But, having walked back and forth between 4 of the 6 terminal buildings, I envied the bikes.

By the time my plane did get there and I got on it, my wife was going by the airport having driven up the same distance from Pensacola.

They said they waved, but I didn’t see it.

When we took of I waved, but I don’t know if they saw it.

We finally got back to Boston and it was only one more under terminal tunnel and the bridge to the parking garage.

Sadly, I forgot that Delta was now in terminal A, so I had left my car near terminal C. I flew out of B. So, it was always a cold walk to the car.
But, I managed it, got out of Boston before rush hour and home at my usual weekday time.
