Wearing my boots all day last Saturday really hurt my left foot.  (Not the
movie.)
At the time I thought it was just that something must have gotten into my
boot, or the socks being wet irritated the bottom.
My wife tells me that it is the same symptoms of planted fascists in the
foot.
That seems very strange to me.
I was standing in the mud, and it is clear that a whole lot of stuff washed
down that river.
I’d like to think there aren’t fascists in Vermont where a lot of that mud
started.
It is, after all, where my father was from.  And, he almost fought against
them in WWII.  He would have if he didn’t get his shoulder pulled out of
its socket in basic training.
(And, he was very clear that he didn’t really mean to let that prisoner go
the time he was on guard duty.)
I’ve seen enough of the posters from back then to know that it doesn’t take
much to have them grow.  And, I’m sure that mud was good for that.

Wait, I’m told plantar fasciitis isn’t the same as planted fascists.
Either way, my foot still hurts.

Do planted fascists spread?

Plantar Fasciitis will start to occur in unsupportive shoes, especially if doing a lot of walking, jogging, hiking, or other activities on hard, unyielding surfaces or with shoes with inadequate arch support. It takes a longer period of time, but one can also get Plantar's wart, which can be sore/painful in a more superficial/skin way, after exposure to dirt/etc. and wet, moist environment. Maybe you've contracted "trench foot", which was common in WWI?
