Practice

Due to all the rain this week, the water levels are still very high.

Maybe because of this, there were a lot of bugs.

Folks seemed to be happy to have Phoenix practice today and broke into random dance.


We also spent time teaching people historical styles.



There was a short break to remove an audience member.


Can’t blame the little snake. There were a ton of bugs out today. I think bug spray only gave them the idea there was good stuff to be had.

The spiders also seemed to be out in force. But, getting the camera to focus on a small yellow spider turned out to be quite hard.


Then, there was the case of the disappearing fire swords.


If you’re near them, you can see them. But step to the side and they disappear into the grass.


We also did our fire practice.


Fire!


We have folks doing new tricks.



And, fire eating.



And fire tongue.


And fire naked men.


Strangely, the man with the back of wicks I couldn’t catch on fire.


The fire swords took a lot to light today, but went OK once lit.
