Today we were back over at

They had a big dumpster prepared.

It didn’t look like it was intended for deck waste, but we used it for that anyhow.

Getting the railings down was fairly easy. Basically, we pulled.

There were lots of rusty nails.

The floor boards took more work.

There were poison ivy worries, but it was pulled up and put in a bag by someone much less sensitive to it then me.

(If you think there is a dirty joke in there, you should have been there with us. Then there would not have been any doubt...)
Most of us took turns resting in the shade as well.

Eventually, we just pulled it down.

It does make their yard seem a lot bigger without it.

But, that first step is now a big one.

It was a lot of stuff in the dumpster.

Then, we had lunch.

There was also costume fitting going on.

Then, back to sign painting for our faire.

They make a paint to turn signs into blackboards.

I’m told the grass will grow out of it.

But, the garage won’t, so more care was taken there. The dog in the next yard was very impressed and barked a lot to show it.

A few more coats of base were put on the others.

The recycling bin looked very happy when done...
