Yet another storm

Yes, it is true. We had a new engineer start Tuesday who’s last name is Winter.
So, Winter has moved into our office at work.
That didn’t stop me from going to work both days of the 2 day storm.
Wednesday morning it looked like a lot of other people from my building had been going in and out.

But, it is all me.
That is:
I think the snow shovel is in the car.
No, it isn’t, maybe it’s in the house.
No, I don’t see it, it must be in the other car.
No, it isn’t, it must be in the house after all.
It is in the house, but not where I expected it, now off to shovel.
Now the car is dug out, I better put the shovel back.
I need to bring my work computer back to the office since I’m not working at home today.
Finally, off to work.
I got to work an hour late Wednesday. Go figure.
Although I dug out both of our cars, not a lot of other people in our apartment complex did the same.

Tuesday we got snow. Wednesday we got ice. And, there is a lot of ice going around.

Honestly, it is easier to drive in snow then on ice.

And, the car gets a pretty solid coating in an ice storm.

Ice coated wiper blades don’t do that much good.

And, the railings only make you slide faster.

But, it is very pretty the next day.

Tonight my wife and I played “find the lost car” with our neighbors who had not dug their cars out.
Can you spot the buried car in the photo?

It is easier from this side.

As my wife said “they aren’t getting out until spring.”
There is a theory that this car belongs to the neighbor who was nasty to the plow driver.
I don’t know if it is true or not. But, I would believe it.
