Home again, home again
Jul. 5th, 2010 09:23 pmAs much fun as we had this weekend, today was time to head home so we can return to our day jobs.
A lot of folks had the day off, so the airports weren’t as full as Friday.

My wife and I were both happy to have the iPads as they make bringing a lot of books along with you much easier.

I do have to say that tornado shelters are not something you see in Massachusetts.

Soon, we were on our way home.

Today was not as good for looking at sights on the ground as we flew over, but it was still nice to look at.

Today in Cleveland, we had to change terminals. I found they had some very big “paper” planes there.

Coming into Providence, we flew over Hartford CT. It is the first time I remember seeing it from the air.

(IF you guys get out here at some point, a closer look could be possible...)
As we flew up Rhode Island bay, my wife remarked “That’s a lot of yachts.” I agreed.

Soon, TF Green came into view.

And, keeping with the theme of the trip, we drove out of the airport to find a traffic jam due to an accident.

But, soon we were back in Shrewsbury. We stopped at our favorite sushi restaurant that has the drink my wife likes so much.

After dinner: home.
Now, we’re both tired.
It was a very good trip. But, it is good to be home too.
