Taking my work home with me

My wife met me for lunch today, which was very nice.
While we were talking, she told me that last night I woke her up and
started telling her about the loading height of the new machine I’m
designing.
I have no memory of this, but it does explain why I felt so tired this
morning.  Apparently I was working all night long.
It’s not the first time that I’ve “sleep lectured” her about some of the
problems I’m working on at my day job and my proposed solutions.  And,
today at work I spent a fair bit of time working on the load height of the
unit as I have been worried it is too low.  (I spent an hour this morning
building a mock up to test.  That was before I even knew I had been working
on it last night.)
It does mean that I’m getting worked up about the design.  Not 100% a bad
sign.  But, it means I’m more worked up about it then I thought.
