Dress rehearsal in the mud
Feb. 28th, 2010 09:32 pmOK, 1 shot of the car.

There was a LOT of rain this week so the yard outside the practice space was very muddy today.

It was our last practice before the big show. We tried out the “sedan chair” idea, but it didn’t work out as well as expected.

The problem is the seams for the loop started to split. So, we’ll be doing something else.
The rest of rehearsal went well.

It did seem to tire out some people.

But, it is fairly active stuff.

When I say people are giving it their all, this isn’t what I intended.

But, they are trying hard.

Then we spent some time in the cold wet yard trying to work out the fire show.

Not everyone was impressed.

But, afterwards we went out for Thai food. Perrin got the “fisherman’s platter” which came in a foil bubble that was cut open to make a serving dish. THAT was very impressive.
