Just as a follow up to my post about my idea the other day:

The company where I am now working pays me to come up with ideas for them. Of course they own them, that’s what they pay me for. I don’t begrudge it to them any more then I expect them to begrudge my paycheck.

I am in the wonderful position of being paid to think. Thoughts and ideas are the main product of my work. Other people take those and turn them into actual things. They, hopefully, make money off of it and we all get paid.

It’s a really cool thing. Granted, the longer I work at places the more and more I get bogged down in the non-thinking aspects. But, that’s just part of the way things work.

Right now, it’s lots of thought, little paperwork.
