Hope that your trip is a good one and everyone arrives back home safely! Our "lawn" here in NH is mostly gravel covered rocks with scattered assortments of weeds. I've never had to work so hard to dig so much as 1 post hole or plant a sapling in my life, and I've worked on farms in Vermont.
