Today I drove up to Tom and Brett’s new house to help them get it ready. Apart from difficult street signs, I found the place without too much difficulty.
It is a nice place, built 114 years ago right near the center of the town.
Tom spackled one of the upper bedrooms, so I sanded it down. There was a lot of spackle. So, there was a lot of dust.

I was there a couple of hours before heading home. It was only when I saw myself in the mirror in the car I realized I needed to be glad the police didn’t stop me.

I did have another phone interview this morning. This one seemed to go better, and is with a company only about 7 miles from home. As with the other, it was a pre-screen. But, this guy seemed to imply I'll get a call back.
Hopefully that's not just wishful thinking on my part.
