Spider spider
Sep. 11th, 2012 08:38 amWhy are all spiders bigger when you don’t have clothes on?
Last night I climbed into bed and looked up. Right over me on the ceiling
was a spider about the size of my thumbnail. That doesn’t sound big,
especially 8 feet away. But, it looked big staring down at me.
So, I got one of our stemmed glasses and my can of compressed air and
convinced it to move to the kitchen. (Stemware isn’t required for this,
but it is easier to use putting it against the ceiling to blow the spider
off with the air.)
The spider seemed happy in the stemware and didn’t want to get out in the
kitchen. (Maybe it thought it had a round trip ticket.) So, I left the
glass there where it could get out and hopefully be happier than I was
thinking about it dropping onto me in the night.
