Visiting the museum

A dozen years after the Higgins Armory Museum closed, the exhibition at the Worcester Art Museum that got a lot of the material has finally opened.

It’s always nice to go to the museum next to where I met my wife.


This weekend was only for members, and even then you had to have timed tickets. We had the first showing and we were first in line. But, we hadn’t gone to the party the night before…


We were the fist ones into the new galleries on the first day, not counting the party the night before.











I was happy to see the had a reproduction of my favorite sword as one you can touch.



It’s pretty good.



Across the hall they had a special exhibit where folks did interpretations of a panting from the museum.
